We collect visitor information via our site. The infomation we request is used to respond to queries and/or process applications or event bookings.

A person who has submitted personal details via our web forms can request that their details be amended or withdrawn.

Subsribers / users may have his/her personal data corrected, if inaccurate, or erased.

We take our security responsibilities seriously. We employ the appropriate physical and technical measures to ensure the proper use of the personal data we collect.

We do not currently use cookies and we do not automatically collect any personally identifiable information about you when visiting our site without your knowledge and consent.

We hold only accurate, complete and up-to-date data, and regularly review our contact details for the purpose of updating details. Users may email us at any time to update their own contact details.

We do not hold more data than is necessary for the purpose for which we collect them. Any data in excess of this requirement is deleted. We regularly review all data supplied/obtained and delete that which is not necessary, or which is no longer necessary.

We do collect general statistical information about how often our site is visited and by how many people. This information may then be used to develop and improve the service we provide to our customers. We collect:

• The IP address of your computer. This is a number automatically assigned to your computer when you use the web.
• The type of browser used while accessing our site (e.g. Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Safari)
• We also record the site that directed / linked you to our site.
• The pages you visit on our site and your activity on our site.

  You may voluntarily sign up for our Newsletter. To subscribe to this we only request your email address. Your email address will be stored on a database which will be used solely for sending you our newsletter or updates of events / news items. We will not share this list with any third parties without your prior approval. You may unsubscribe for this at any time using on site facility or by email.
  
  Online Booking & E-Payments
  The SDCEB site facilitates online booking of its training courses and events.
  Personal information is sent securely using an SSL certificate.
  Electronic payments are handled by Realex.
  At no time is credit/debit card information retained or stored on our servers.
